Welcome! Thanks for visiting our site. These terms help everyone understand what to expect when browsing, donating, volunteering, or visiting our farm.
Agreement to Terms
By hanging out on our website or visiting the herd at WeeShire Mains Inc., you’re agreeing to follow these rules and all the legal stuff required by the great State of Nebraska.
The "Barn-Text" Program (SMS)
We use technology to keep the herd informed. By opting in, you’re agreeing to the following "robot-required" rules:
What we send: We’ll text you for waiver confirmations, Nebraska weather tantrums (emergencies), and farm schedule shifts.
How to Join: You opt-in by checking the box on our waiver. It’s totally optional—you don't have to get texts to be our friend.
The Costs: Message and data rates may apply. We don't charge you, but your carrier might. Message frequency varies based on how much is happening at the farm.
How to Quit: If you’ve had enough farm news, just text STOP to our number. We’ll send one final "Goodbye" text to confirm.
How to Get Help: If you’re confused, text HELP or email [email protected].
The Fine Print: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If the tower is down, we can’t shout that loud!
Privacy: We don't trade phone numbers for hay! No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Age Restrictions
You must be at least 18 years old (a "grown-up" in farm terms) or have a parent’s permission to join our SMS list.
Donations & Giving
Supporting the herd is a beautiful thing. Please keep in mind:
Finality: Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable—once the goats eat the hay, we can't really get it back! (Unless, of course, Nebraska law says otherwise).
Security: We use fancy, secure third-party payment heroes to handle your data so we can focus on the animals.
Events, Programs & Farm Life
Farm life is the best life, but it’s not a paved city sidewalk.
The Reality: Our programs involve natural risks: curious animals, "authentic" (uneven) ground, Nebraska weather tantrums, and farm tools.
The Deal: You participate voluntarily and agree to follow the posted "Barn Rules" and staff instructions.
The Kids: Little humans (minors) must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
The Helpers: Our volunteers are awesome and are protected under the Nebraska Volunteer Protection Act when acting in good faith.
Agritourism Disclosure
WeeShire Mains is a proud Nebraska agritourism site.
By visiting, you’re acknowledging the inherent risks of a farm.
Participation is voluntary and at your own risk, as allowed under Nebraska law (Neb. Rev. Stat. § 2-3901 et seq.).
Photos & Media (The "Smile for the Camera" Policy)
We love capturing the magic of the farm, but we aren't the paparazzi.
Permission First: We’ll always ask before making you (or your kids) "Farm Famous" in our education or promo materials.
The "Oops" Policy: If we accidentally post a photo of you looking less-than-majestic and you want it down, just holler at [email protected] and we’ll pull it faster than a goat on a clover patch.
Your Shares: If you send us a photo, you’re giving us the "thumbs up" to share that joy with the rest of the herd!
Intellectual Property
Site content (logos, text, graphics, images) is property of WeeShire Mains unless stated otherwise
You may share content non-commercially with credit
Copying, modifying, or selling content is prohibited
Third-Party Links
WeeShire Mains is not responsible for the content, privacy, or practices of external websites linked on the site.
This Liability Disclaimer
The site and programs are provided “as-is”
WeeShire Mains is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using the site or participating in programs.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally; the latest version is always posted here.
This is Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Nebraska law, and disputes fall under Nebraska courts.
