Meet the gentle souls—from hooves to feathers—who turn our farm into a sanctuary of healing.
They may be smaller in stature, but their impact is enormous. Our miniature residents provide all the grounding presence of a traditional farm in a size that feels approachable and safe for everyone.

Nick Nack is our resident Highland "teddy bear." He finds deep peace in a good grooming session, though as a teenager, he’s still figuring out exactly how wide his horns are! He is a beautiful reminder that we are all growing and learning about our own space.

A miniature mix of Hereford, Angus, and Dexter, Purcie is 400 lbs of pure personality. She is incredibly sweet, but as her name suggests, she can be quite pursistent—especially if she thinks you have a spare apple!

CeeCee came to WeeShire in search of a softer life. After a difficult start where her needs weren't being met, she has blossomed into our most intuitive resident. Her journey from rescue to sanctuary makes her an incredible partner for those who are also navigating their own paths to healing and trust.

Adopted alongside her mother when she was just 10 months old, Waffles has spent her youth learning that humans are friends. Because she received the care and love she needed here at WeeShire, she is full of gentle curiosity. She is a wonderful example of how a little "pursistence" in care can lead to a lifetime of joy.

Kenny was our first boy and remains the steady heart of the herd. As a wether, he’s extra mellow and excels at teaching the "newbies" (and the humans!) how to relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Cinder is a fabulous mom to her two Turbo-sired daughters. This trio is high-energy, full of "popcorn" jumps, and always ready to investigate a new scent.

Ella and her two daughters are the socialites of the pen. They move as a unit, proving that family connection is the strongest force on the farm.

Since all seven of our goats are "fainters," you might see them stiffen up when they're excited. It’s their unique way of saying, "Wow, hold on a minute!"
From the rhythmic 'honk' of our guardians to the busy 'cluck' of our garden inspectors, our birds provide the natural soundtrack to life at WeeShire.

Our geese are the official "Welcoming Committee." Pete and Petunia (aka Repeat) ensure everything at WeeShire is running smoothly, announcing every visitor with a confident honk and a watchful eye.

Our squadron is a delightful mix of personalities! From our upright-walking Indian Runners who zip around like bowling pins, to our sweet Mallard hen and our "Special Ops" Peckins—including our resilient blind duck and our wise "Grandma" duck

Led by Red, our gentle rooster who loves to be held, these cold-hardy ladies live in the lap of luxury in the Chicken Palace. Many were hatched right here on the farm, making them the true heart of the homestead.
WeeShire Mains is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit sensory farm dedicated to providing a space to breathe, grow, and connect. Located in the heart of Kimball, Nebraska, we are cultivating resilience—one seed and one snuggle at a time.
